The provincial government of in Yen Bai held on May 10 a training conference on religious affairs for provincial and district-level officials in the province.
The conference was co-chaired by Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Dương Văn Thống and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Đỗ Đức Duy.
During the one-day conference, Dr. Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thanh Hà presented topics on the current religious life in Vietnam, key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decree No. 162, and related issues and practical experiences.
Chairman of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization Hoàng Xuân Nguyên also delivered basic contents of the Party’s executive order for strengthening the implementation of the Resolution No 25 of the Party’s 9th Central Committee on religious affairs adopted in 2003.
