The provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in Thanh Hoa province in collaboration with the provincial People’s Committee in Muong Lat district and related agencies held on September 12 a conference updating religious information and guiding religious practices for local cadres and religious followers in the district.
The event drew 130 participants who are key officials tasked with religious affairs and representatives from Catholic and Protestant congregations given registration certificates for collective religious-practicing places in the district.

The training covered current religious life in Vietnam and Thanh Hoa province, guidance of practical issues relating to religious practices of Catholicism and Protestantism according to the state laws and identification of plots and tricks abusing Protestantism.

The event also had discussion and explanation of practical issues related to religion in the district aimed at improving effectiveness and efficiency in the state administration on belief and religion.
On the occasion, the provincial Commitee for Religious affairs also presented national flags to 38 Catholic and Protestant congregations given registration certificates for collective religious-practicing places in the district.
