Thach Ha district people’s committee in Ha Tinh province held on May 11 a conference on the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion, its guiding decree No. 162 and several legal documents issued in 2018.
Attending the conference were religious dignitaries and deacons in the district and local officials who were heads of district offices and commune-level people’s committee and fatherland front board in the locality.
During the one-day event, Former Director of the Department of Legislation and Inspection Nguyễn Khắc Huy presented key contents of the law on belief and religion and the government decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new religious law. The conference also highlighted key tasks of the state management on belief and religion under jurisdiction of the district and commune authorities.
