The Steering Committee on religious affairs in An Giang province held on September 27 a conference for updating religious policies and laws to local officials.
Attending the conference included Vice Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Trương Hoàng Trọng, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Nguyên Châu and about 160 participants who are members of the local steering committees on religious affairs and heads of district-level authorities in the province.
The one-day event covered topics on State’ policies and laws on religion, and new contents of the Law on Belief and Religion which will officially take effect on January, 2018.
