Muong Lan post of the Border Guard in the northern province of Son La held on August 1 an exchange meeting on the Covid-19 prevention and control with members of the Vietnam Evangelical Church (North) in Huoi Men village of Muong Lan commune in the province’s Sop Cop district.
The meeting taking place in collaboration with the local authorities drew the participation of about 100 Evangelical followers in the locality.
During the event, officers of the Border Guard’s Muong Lan post informed key contents of Notification No. 421 dated July 27, 2021 of the Son La provincial government on temporary suspension of gatherings in restaurants, eateries, amusement parks, sports areas, etc.
They also called on locals to strictly observe recommended measures for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention, as well as fight against illegal emigration and immigration, in order to protect themselves, their families and communities.
