A program entitled “Coast guards with ethnic and religious people” was held by the 21st Brigade under the 2nd Regional Coast Guards in collaboration with the Mass Mobilization Board of Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province on September 28.
During the program, the 21st Marine Brigade presented 30 sets of supports to 30 disadvantaged families, each containing essential supplies worth 500,000 VND and 500,000 VND in cash.
The Marine Brigade also gave 5 ipads together with 4G sim card to five disadvantaged pupils of Nguyen Duy Hieu Secondary School of Tam Tra Commune; each ipad costs five million VND which has been donated by officers of the marine brigade.
Speaking at the event, Colonel Triệu Quang Quy, Deputy Commissar of the 21st Marine Brigade encouraged Cor people to strive to improve the material and spiritual life, and join local authorities in prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic./.
