The Youth Union of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Department in Ha Tinh province held on January 6 a charity program for presenting Tet (New Year) gifts to Chut minority ethnic people residing in Rao Tre village of the district’s Huong Lien commune.
Presenting Tet gift sets to Chut ethnic people
During the charity program, the provincial Culture, Sports and Tourism Department presented 12 sets of Tet gifts to 12 poor households in Rao Tre village, each containing one blanket and 5 kg of rice, worth six million VND in total.
Rao Tre village in Huong Khe district’s Huong Lien commune currently has 42 families of Chut minority ethnic group with 150 people.
