Catholic parish in Ninh Binh proactively join movement for environmental protection, public security

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Board in Chinh Tam commune, Kim Son district of Ninh Binh province and the Manage Board of Cach Tam Catholic parish launched a coordinating program for environmental protection and public security in the locality at a ceremony held on October 21.
The event saw the participation of Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee Đỗ Việt Anh, local authorities’ representatives, priests from the parishes of Cach Tam and Ang Son and 200 Catholic followers.
During the event, representatives from Catholic households of Cach Tam parish also signed the program for environmental protection and climate change response, public security in the locality.
The coordinating program’s main contents include practical activities for environmental protection, climate change adaptation and prevention of crimes and social evils
Right after the signing ceremony, local people and followers started activities for making surrounding residential areas clean and green.
