Ca Mau religious committee inspects implementation of laws on belief and religion

A delegation from Ca Mau authorities paid working visits from June 19 - 22 to check the observance of laws relating to belief and religion in the province.

The delegation led by Vice Chairman of the provincial religious committee Ngô Hòa Dựa had meetings with the provincial People’s Committee and local authorities of Cai Nuoc and Ngoc Hien districts.

During the working visits, the inspection delegation heard reports on the implementation of laws on belief and religion from the provincial People’s Committees and the districts of Cai Nuoc and Ngoc Hien. The meetings also exchanged on issues related to the implementation of laws on belief and religion including the registration of collective religious practices, conferment and transfer of religious dignitaries, ceremony and preaching outside religious establishments and lawful places, etc.

The inspection working visits aimed to enhance the coordination in the implementation of religious laws as well as access the six-month implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and the Decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the Law.
