Border Guard in Soc Trang supports Khmer people affected by Covid-19 pandemic

The Border Guard post in Vinh Hai commune under the Border Guard in Soc Trang province paid from August 6-7 charity visits to Khmer pagodas and families hard hit by Covid-19 pandemic in coastal areas.  

As reported, the Border Guard in Vinh Hai has presented 600 sets of supplies, each containing ten kilograms of rice and other necessities valued at 350,000 VND, to Tra Dot Khmer pagoda located in Vinh Chau provincial city’s Lac Hoa commune, and families badly affected by Covid-19 pandemic in the provincial city’s Vinh Hai and Lac Hoa communes.

Besides, the Border Guard in Soc Trang province has handed over 15 tons of rice and 2,000 sets of supplies, each containing rice and other necessities valued from 300-350 thousand VND, to disadvantaged families in coast areas of Cu Lao Dung and Tran De districts, and Vinh Chau provincial city.
