A delegation of Binh Thuan provincial authorities on August 12 visited and met with the executive committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) chapter in the province ahead of the Buddhist Parents Day 2019 - B.E. 2563.
The delegation led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Huỳnh Thanh Cảnh was welcomed by Most Venerable Chairman of the VBS chapter in the province Thích Minh Nhật.
During the visiting reception, Deputy Secretary Huỳnh Thanh Cảnh highlighted practical contributions of local Buddhists to socio-economic development in the locality.
He also called on the VBS Executive Committee in the province to further encourage local Buddhists to make practical contributions in the the province.
Speaking with the guests, Most Venerable Thích Minh Nhật took the chance to thank local authorities for their visit and extend to local Buddhists on occasion of the Buddhist Parents Day.
