The provincial leader was accompanied by provincial Committees of Religious Affairs, Party  Commission for Mass Mobilization and Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Speaking at the visiting reception, while extending congratulatory wishes to Priest Chairman of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics in the province John Baptist Nguyễn Văn Riễn, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee Đặng Minh Hưng praised his contributions to social development and Catholic community in the province over the past years, as well as briefed the Priest the economic, cultural and social life in the locality.

The Vice Chairman Đặng Minh Hưng urged Priest John Baptist Nguyễn Văn Riễn in his position to continue making further contributions to the local development.

Priest John Baptist  Nguyễn Văn Riễn has also been elected as Deputy of the 14^th National Assembly and Head of the St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Binh Duong province’s Thu Dau Mot city.
