According to the draft plan, the festival organizing board will establish subcommittees, monitoring stations and inspection teams for ensuring public order, security, environmental sanitation, transportation, as well as prevention of social evils and unfortunate accidents that may occur during the festive time.

Regarding belief and religious rituals, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s executive boards in the district, management board of pagodas and temples in the relic site have been asked for developing a plan to closely coordinate with the festival organizing board in supporting and guiding visitors.

In particular, assurances over safety for tourists when traveling by boat on Yen Stream during the height of the festival are also highlighted. According to Vice Chairman of the district people’s committee Nguyễn Văn Hậu, authorities of Huong Son commune intends to provide enough life-vests for passenger transport units as well as arrange rescue facilities to ensure safety for visitors and their belongings.
