A delegation from Tay Ninh provincial authorities has visited and met with the representative committee for the Islamic community in the province in Ward 1 Mosque, on occasion of the closing of Ramadan 2023.

The delegation was led by Vice Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Văn Trung, Deputy Director of the provincial Department for Home Affairs Trần Minh Nay, and Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Hồ Đức Hải.
During the visiting reception, while extending greetings to the Islamic community on occasion of the closing of Ramadan 2023 (from March 23 to April 22), Deputy Director Trần Minh Nay highly appreciated practical contributions made by the Cham Islamic community for socio-economic development of the province

He expressed hope that the representative committee for the Islamic community and the management board of mosques in the province would continue promoting their role in guiding religious practices of local Muslims according to the State laws and joining hands with local authorities in ensuring social safety and unity in the locality.
During the visit, local authorities presented 30 gift sets, valued at 50 million VND in total, to the provincial representative committee for Islamic community, the management board of mosques, typical dignitaries, and prestigious Cham people in the province.
