The delegation visited the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee based in Sung An pagoda, the VBS’s executive board in Phan Rang – Thap Cham city based in Phuoc Lam pagoda, and pagodas of Dieu An and Trung Son in the province.

During the visits, while extending best wishes and warm celebrations of Buddha’s Birthday to monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the province, Deputy Secretary Phạm Văn Hậu expressed hope that local Buddhist dignitaries would continue encouraging Buddhists to proactively engage in patriotic movements launched by local authorities.

Chairman of provincial religious committee Nguyễn Phú visits Truc Lam Zen monastery in An Giang

In An Giang province, a delegation from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs led by Chairman Nguyễn Phú on May 20 paid visits to the provincial VBS’s executive committee in Thoai Son district and Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Nui Sap town, ahead of the Buddha Birthday 2021 (B.E 2565).

During the visits, Chairman Nguyễn Phú extended happy celebrations of the Buddha Birthday 2021 to the VBS chapter and Buddhist followers the locality, as well as congratulations on the success of the 7^th congress of the VBS executive board in Thoai Son district.

Also on May 20, Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh provincial People’s Committee Lê Ngọc Châu visited and met with the provincial VBS Chapter. During the visit, the Vice Chairman presented floral congratulations and extended happy Vesak celebrations to Most Venerable Thích Bảo Nghiêm, Vice President of the VBS’s Executive Council cum Chairman of the Ha Tinh provincial VBS Chapter, and other Buddhist monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the locality.

Gia Lai provincial religious committee extends Vesak greetings to Most Venerable Thích Quảng Xả

Earlier, on May 19, Chairman of Gia Lai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Hồ Hải Tần visited and met with Most Venerable Thích Quảng Xả, Vice President of the VBS Executive Council cum Chairman of the VBS Executive Committee in Kon Tum province, for extending the Buddha’s Birthday greetings to the VBS chapter and all Buddhist followers in the province.
