Authorities of Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre and Tay Ninh provinces extend Tet greetings to local religious organizations

A delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee Nguyễn Hồ Hải paid a visit to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s executive committee in the city ahead of the lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.
During the visit, while extending a new year of peace and happiness to Buddhist dignitaries and lay followers in the city, Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Hồ Hải asked the VBS chapter in Ho Chi Minh City to continue upholding fine traditions of unity and proactive social engagement for sustainable development in the city.
On the same day, a delegation of the provincial committee for religious affairs in the southern province of Ben Tre visited and extended Tet greetings to the (VBS)’s executive committee in the province.

Also on January 26 and in Tay Ninh province, Vice Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Văn Trung visited and extended Tet greetings to Buddhist and Protestant representatives in the province’s Tan Bien and Tan Chau districts.
