Secretary of the Party’s Committee in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province Phạm Viết Thanh led on May 31 a delegation to visit Hong Quang Humanitarian Centre in Tan Hoa commune of Ba Ria Vung Tau province’s Phu My district on occasion of the International Children Day (June 1).

Venerable Thích Thiện Thông, Director of the Hong Quang Humanitarian Centre and members of the Centre welcomed the delegation.
During the visit, the delegation presented 72 gift sets, worth 700,000 VND each (including cakes and 500,000 VND in cash) to children of the Centre.

According to Venerable Thích Thiện Thông, Hong Quang Humanitarian Centre was established in 2015 and currently takes care of 72 orphans from 2 to 14 years old.
On the same day, a delegation from the Committee for Religious Affairs led by Vice Chairman Bùi Anh Tuấn visited and presented gifts to children of Hong Linh Support Center for the Development of Inclusive Education under Ha Tinh diocese in Nam Hong ward, Ha Tinh province’s Hong Linh district.
Hong Linh Support Center for the Development of Inclusive Education was established in 2015 and aims to provide consulation, early intervention, and support for inclusive education for disabled children in Ha Tinh province, contributing to help children integrate into the community.
