A delegation of the Provincial Party Committee in Tay Ninh province paid on January 29 visits to religious organizations in the province, ahead of the lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.
The delegation led by Deputy Secretary Phạm Hùng Thái visited and met with representatives of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics in Tay Ninh, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in the province, and the Tay Ninh Caodai Church.
Extending Tet visit to Tay Ninh Caodai Church
During the visits, Deputy Secretary Phạm Hùng Thái extended a new year of blessings and success to religious dignitaries and all followers of religions in the locality.
The deputy secretary also spoke highly of practical contributions made by religious organizations in Tay Ninh. As reported, in 2020, religious followers in the locality have contributed over 25 billion VND to charitable programs helping poor people severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and floods in the Central, etc.
