The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in Phu Yen province in collaboration with the People’s Committee in the province held on November 30 the exchange meeting 2022 with local religious organizations.
The event was co-chaired by Chairman of the provincial VFF Nguyễn Quốc Hoàn and Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Hồ Thị Nguyên Thảo, and joint by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyễn Tấn Chân, and dignitaries of religious organizations and representatives of religious worshipping places in the locality.

As reported during the meeting, Phu Yen province currently has six religions of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism, Hoa Hao Buddhism and Minh Su Faith.
During the meeting, provincial authorities informed the guests the socio-economic development of the province and highlighted practical contributions made by religious organizations in the province.
At the meeting, participating religious dignitaries gave comments on practical issues relating the expansion of religious places, administrative procedures and religious and social affairs of religious organizations in the locality.

On the same day, the VFF in Binh Thuan province’s Tanh Linh district held a meeting with dignitaries of religious organizations in the district.

Present at the event included Vice Chairman of the VFF in Binh Thuan province Nguyễn Văn Trí, Deputy Secretary of the District Party’s Committee in Tanh Linh Phạm Sơn, and outstanding dignitaries of religious organizations in the district.
As reported, Tanh Linh district currently has eight religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism, the Cham Bani Islam community, Hoa Hao Buddhism and the Vietnam Pure–land Buddhist Association, with 41,081 followers, accounting for nearly 40 percent of the district’s population, and 29 religious worshipping places.
