A delegation of Ben Tre province led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lê Đức Thọ paid on November 2 visits to religious organizations in the province’s districts of Giong Trom and Ba Tri.
Accompanying the delegation included representatives of the People’s Council in the province, the provincial Home Affairs Department, the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilisation, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the provincial Public Security.
The delegation visited Buu Long temple under the Four Debts of Gratitude Faith Association located in Giong Trom district and Khuyet Linh oratory under the Tam Thanh Vo Vi Dazzling Bright Caodai Church located in Ba Tri district.
During the visits, local establishments of the Four Debts of Gratitude Faith Association and the Tam Thanh Vo Vi Dazzling Bright Caodai Church informed the provincial delegation religious practices and practical contributions made by the local religious organizations to the Covid-19 prevention work.

Speaking at the visits, Secretary Lê Đức Thọ, who is also Member of the Party Central Committee, spoke highly of practical contributions made by religious followers for the socio-economic development, social welfare and the Covid-19 prevention work in the locality during the past years.
