Ante-Creation Caodai Church in Tien Giang reviews religious affairs 2021

The Ante-Creation Caodai Church’s representative committee in Tien Giang province reviewed its performance in 2021 and in the first quarter of 2022 at a meeting held on February 9-10 in Minh Duc oratory located in the province’s My Tho city.

Overview of the meeting

Attending the event were Archbishop Thượng Phương Thanh from the Ante-Creation Caodai Church’s Standing Committee, Bishop Thượng Thêu Thanh, Chairman of the Caodai Church’s representative committee in the province, and representatives of 23 Caodai parishes in the province.

Guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in Tien Giang Trần Văn Khuê.

As reported at the event, the Ante- Creation Caodai Church in Tien Giang has recorded many good results in religious affairs in 2021 and the first months of 2022 including the admission of 15 new converts and the baptism of 22 children. In addition, Caodai followers of the Church in Tien Giang have launched charitable activities for providing free medicines and acupuncture, organizing free cataract surgeries, presenting food and necessities in 2021 with the total contributing value of over 2.2 billion VND, and over 445 million VND in the first quarter of 2022.

Speaking at the event, while extending lunar new year wishes to all leaders and members of the Caodai Church, Vice Chairman Trần Văn Khuê spoke highly of practical contributions made by the Caodai Church for the Covid-19 prevention work in the province.
