The State management on religious affairs was one of key contents at the annual meeting held on January 1 by Quang Binh provincial Home Affairs.
The meeting taking place in the province’s Dong Hoi city was attended by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Hữu Hoài, representatives from the home affairs sectors and authorities at the provincial and district levels and related provincial departments and agencies.
As reported at the meeting, the state management on religious affairs in the province has achieved positive results over the past year including the approval of the establishment of several local religious organizations in the locality and dissemination of the law on belief and religion with five dissemination meetings for 760 officials tasked with religious affairs in the locality.
The meeting also set out working plans for religious affairs in 2018 including the promulgation of legal documents related to the state management on religious affairs for ensuring uniformity and consistency with the new law on belief and religion.
