72 worshipping places of beliefs, religions in An Giang recognized as national, provincial relics

The Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang province held on November 18 a working meeting with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on worshipping places of beliefs and religions recognized as national and provincial relics in the province.
At the meeting
As reported at the meeting, An Giang province currently has 525 religious worshipping places, with 10 places recognized as national relics, 14 worshipping places recognized as provincial relics, and 266 belief worshipping establishments with 11 belief sites recognized as national relics, 36 places recognized as provincial relics and one belief place received the special national relic.
During the meeting, two agencies reached a consensus on numbers of recognized relics in the locality, as well as measures solving practical issues relating the management board of several worshipping places of religions and beliefs in the locality.
