One of these religious dignitaries who received Covid-19 vaccination this time, Priest Dominic Nguyễn Xuân Trường of Ngo Khe parish under the Bac Ninh diocese shared that religious dignitaries are people who have direct contacts with followers in religious practices and pastoral affairs, so that the vaccination for these religious dignitaries would practically contribute to reduce risks of the pandemic spread in localities.

Senior Venerable Thích Thanh Sơn, General Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s chapter in Bac Ninh also believed that the vaccination would prevent infection not only individually but also communally.

As reported, Bac Ninh province has recorded 1,727 Covid-19 cases, but without any Covid-19 community cases recorded in the last 15 days.

So far, the province has carried out over 300,000 Covid-19 vaccine shots to the pandemic’s frontline forces and people.
