On Oct. 12, Tay Ninh provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front in collaboration with concerning department and agencies organized delegations to attend Sene Dolta festival held at Khmer Theravada pagodas and villages in the locality.
At visiting places, the delegations presented festival gifts to Khmer Buddhist dignitaries and elites, and extended best wishes to Khmer people on the occasion of their meaningful and important traditional festival.
Sene Dolta Festival is similar to Buddhist Parents’ Day, which often held to commemorate, pay respect and tribute to the parents and ancestors. The event is held annually in Khmer community from late of the eight lunar month to early of the nine lunar month./.
