The Quang Binh provincial committee for religious affairs in collaboration with the district authorities of Tuyen Hoa, Quang Trach and Ba Don held a training workshop on religious affairs on June 26-27.
The training event drew participants who are commune-level cadres tasked with religious affairs from the three districts. Representatives from provincial agencies and departments of Vietnam Fatherland Front, Public Security, Mass Mobilization, Natural Resources and Environment, Administration on Religion, etc, also attended the training’s opening ceremony.
The two-day training focused on the state administration on new religious phenomena, roles of concerning local state agencies and socio-political organizations in religious affairs, and legal provisions on religion and belief-related land.
The training workshop also allowed participants to discuss practical issues relating the state management on religion in localities, thus enhancing both professional knowledge and practical skills of religious affairs for local cadres in the three districts in the province.
