It’s reported that during ten years of implementation of the Resolution 25, under the leadership of Ninh Binh city Party Committee, local Fatherland Front Committees and political and social organizations have well conducted dissemination works and encouraged religious people to actively join in movements and programs for building cultural life styles in the locality. Currently, 94% of families in the city meets cultural standards; 82.2% total residential areas has been recognized as cultural localities; all five Catholic communes and one Catholic parish have been regarded as advanced communities, and 80% of the Catholic families are considered as exemplary households.

Party Committees and administrative authorities in Ninh Binh provincial city have also attached its importance to the organization and personnel in charge of religious affairs in order to meet practical conditions of current religious situation. Since 2003, 7 religious followers have been admitted into the Communist Party, adding up to a total of 32 religious party members in the locality. The city have also organized 7 religious affairs professional training for 1,165 local officials working on religious affairs.

Speaking at the reviewing conference, Ninh Binh provincial Public Security Chief Đinh Hoàng Dũng and Secretary of Ninh Binh provincial city Communist Party Nguyễn Văn Tỉnh highlighted contributions of implementing results of the Resolution 25 of the 9th Central Party Committee and related documents of the Party to the socio-economic development, social security and public order in the locality. Mr. Đinh Hoàng Dũng and Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tỉnh also called for continued dissemination of the Party and State’s policies and laws on religion to people and urged local Party Committees, administrative authorities and mass organizations to well carry out tasks and approaches regarding religious affairs as prescribed the Resolution 25, thus making practical contributions to improve material and spiritual life of religious people and promoting social cohesion and national unity in the locality.
