Vietnam Buddhist Institute in Hanoi opens new school year 2022-2023
During the event, Most Venerable Thích Thanh Quyết, Principal of the Vietnam Buddhist Institute in Hanoi beat the drum to kick off the new academic year in the presence of nearly 10,000 monks and nuns studying at the Institute and lay Buddhists.
On the occasion, the executive board of the Institute has presented certificates of graduation to 306 monks and nuns studying the bachelor and master levels.

According to Prof. Lương Gia Tĩnh, Vice Principal of the Institute, with social capital, the Institute has built modern facilities meeting the needs of about 1,000 studying monks and nuns, including a museum house – grand hall with an area of 6,000 m2, a Vien Quang building with an area of 10,000 m2, a accommodation housing for monks and nuns with an area of 5,000 m2, a mini football field, badminton court, ping-pong table and volleyball court, etc
