The Central Executive Committee of the Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association held on February 21 a meeting for reviewing its performance in 2022 and outlining plans 2023.
Guests at the event taking place in Tam Buu pagoda located in Tri Ton district’s Ba Chuc town of An Giang province included Deputy Head of the Religious Affairs Committee in the province Lê Quang Tấn.
At the meeting
As reported at the meeting, in 2022, the Buddhist Association has opened the first basic tenets course for 56 members, and spent over 6.7 billion VND on the construction of four charitable houses, presentation of 13,300 sets of supplies to poor and near-poor families, constructions of rural bridges and roads, etc in the locality.
