According to Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee Hồ Văn Thịnh, Truong Ba temple has been recognized as a national historical relic site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2014, and a national intangible cultural heritage in 2017.

The annual festival creates an opportunity to promote natural and historical values of the locality, as well as learn about the daily life of the Cor ethnic group, and visit the 300-year-old banyan tree in Truong Ba Temple – the Vietnam's heritage tree recognized by the Vietnam Protection of Nature and Environment Association.

In addition to Kinh and Cor people, Chinese, H're and other ethnic groups in the South region, Quang Nam province, and Da Nang city also attend this festival. This is a very special feature compared to other festivals in Quang Ngai province.
