Vice Chairman of provincial Religious Committee presents gift to the conference

The event taking place at Chau Minh Holy See located in Chau Thanh district’s Tien Thuy commune saw the presence of Cardinal Thượng Bảy Thanh, Cardinal Ngọc Huyện Thanh and  other dignitaries of the Church’s Standing Commitee.

Guests at the event included Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Đặng Thị Phượng and Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Phạm Ngọc Thành.

As reviewed at the event, over the past year, the Ante-Creation Caodai Church recorded good results in religious affairs, including the inauguration of six oratories, upgrade of 26 oratories, and establishment of four more parishes.

In addition, the Church community has spent over 21 billion VND on social and charitable programs for supporting the disadvantaged and people affected by the pandemic and floods.

Addressing at the congress, Vice Chairman Phạm Ngọc Thành spoke highly of the Caodai Church’s achievements over the past year. He also expressed hope for continuous promotion of the Church’s fine traditions, preaching and practice of the Caodai faith in accordance with the Church’s Charter and State laws and active involvement in patriotic movements in localities.
