The Hoa Hao Buddhism’s Central Executive Committee held on October 31 the closing ceremony of the 463rd basic tenet course at Kien Long Temple located in Quoi Thanh commune of Ben Tre province’s Chau Thanh district.

The event saw the presence of Member of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Central Executive Committee cum Deputy Head of the Buddhist Church’s Board for tenets propagation Lê Minh Công, Head of the Representative Board of the Buddhist Church in Ben Tre province Nguyễn Thanh Tùng, representatives from the management board of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in several communes, and about 70 participants of the tenet course.
Local guests at the event included representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the province.
As reported, the tenet course opened from September 17 to October 31 aimed to enhance understanding of fundamental teachings, the Charter, and operating regulations of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church and relating state laws for key members of the Buddhist sect.
