The Tay Ninh Caodai Church held successfully its national Congress for 2022-2027 on November 16 at Holy See located in Long Hoa ward, Tay Ninh province’s Hoa Thanh town.

The event saw the presence of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng; Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee in Tay Ninh province Phạm Hùng Thái; dignitaries from the parishes of the Caodai Church across the country.
The congress reviewed affairs of the Caodai Church over the past five years and mapped out working plans for the 2022-2027 tenure, as well as amended the Church’s Charter 2022, and approved a list of nominated dignitaries and deacons for ordainment.
As report at the event, over the past five years, the Tay Ninh Caodai Church have spent nearly 200 billion VND on social charities launched for building and repairing charity houses, upgrading rural bridge, helping the disadvantaged offering supports of medicines, meals, facemasks to the Covid-19 prevention work, etc.
Speaking at the congress, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến extended successes to the national congress for the 2022-2027 of Tay Ninh Caodai Church and the approval of the Church’s Charter according to the Law on Belief and Religion.
The Deputy Minister expressed hope for a continuous promotion of the Church’s fine traditions, contributing to the socio-economic development in localities.
