A delegation from Tien Giang provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs paid working visits to some local Buddhist organizations and establishments on February 10.
The delegation led by Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization cum Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee Trần Long Thôn visited the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Chapter in Cho Gao district and Lai Cay town, the provincial VBS’s Information Communication Board and Moc Chon Temple.
During the visits, while speaking highly of social contributions made by Buddhist organizations and establishments in the locality in recent years, Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee Trần Long Thôn encouraged local Buddhist believers and dignitaries to further uphold the tradition of unity and successfully host the provincial-level Buddhist congress.
