Eight commissioned pastors under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) (ECVN) from the provinces of Vinh Long, Long An, Dong Thap, Kien Giang and Can Tho city were formally ordained as full-time pastors at a ceremony held on October 27 in Kien Giang province.
The event taking place at Tan Hiep evangelical church saw of the presence of Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (South) Phan Vĩnh Cự, pastors from the ECVN (South)’s general executive committee, the provincial representative committees and members of chapters having pastors promoted.
Local guest at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Văn Núi.
Eight fully ordained pastors were pastors Hà Minh Quang Huy, Superintendent of An Phu evangelical chapter in Can Tho city; Trần Phước Viễn, Superintendent of My Loc evangelical chapter in Vinh Long province; Phan Khắc Lĩnh, Superintendent of Hau Nghia evangelical chapter in Long An; Nguyễn Hữu Triều, Superintendent of Tân Khánh Trung evangelical chapter in Dong Thap; Nguyễn Minh Nhựt, Deputy Head of Cai Rang evangelical chapter in Can Tho city; Nguyễn Tấn Thọ, Superintendent of Mong Tho evangelical chapter in Kien Giang; and Nguyễn Hoàng Ngân, Superintendent of Long Phu evangelical chapter in Long An.
