Hoa Hao Buddhists in Dong Thap province have proactively joint local authorities in social charities with the total contribution of nearly 110 billion VND in 2021.
The executive committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist in Dong Thap province receives certificate of merit from the provincial People’s Committee
In particular, for last year, local Hoa Hao Buddhists have contributed money for successfully completing of 98 concrete bridges and 300 charity houses, and sending essential supplies for the Covid-19 prevention work.
Given these practical contributions, the provincial People’s Committee presented certificates of recommendation to Hoa Hoa Buddhist groups and individuals for their support in the Covid-19 prevention work in 2021.
