Religions in Ke Sach district contributes over 800 million VND for Covid-19 prevention work

An inspection delegation of the provincial Party’s Committee in Soc Trang province led by Chairman of the Commission for Mass Mobilization cum Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Committee in the province Dương Sà Kha had on October 27 an exchange meeting on religious affairs with authorities of Ke Sach district.

As reported at the meeting, Ke Sach district currently has over 47,000 religious followers with six Khmer pagodas and 107 worshipping places of seven other religions.
Over the past years, members of religious organizations in the locality have made practical contributions for the construction of 57 charitable houses and 63 rural roads, and donated over 800 million VND to the Covid-19 prevention work.
