The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hau Giang province in collaboration with the Resource and Environment Department has held the 7th consecutive contest "Religion with green environment" model 2022 with the participation of 40 registered applications.

Accordingly, the organization board of the contest has awarded the one first prize, one second prize, two third prizes and five consolidation prizes to nine religious models of religious establishments in the province. In particular, Luong Hiep church in Hiep Loi ward of Nga Bay city received the first prize; Cai Nhum church in Vinh Thuan Dong commune of Long My district was awarded with the second prize, and the executive board of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in Tan Hoa commune of Chau Thanh A district and Hung Ninh Tu temple in Hoa An commune of Phung Hiep received the third prize.
According to the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, through the contest, 100% religious organizations in the province have launched appeals for and committed to environment protection and climate change adaption, as well as sustainable poverty reduction in the locality.
