Missionary Đặng Hoàng Phúc was formally appointed as Superintendent of Nam Can Evangelical church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Nam Can town of Ca Mau province’s Nam Can district at a ceremony held on August 19.

The event saw the presence of Pastor Hồ Nguyên Kha, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) and Pastor Nguyễn Gia Bảo, Member of the ECVN’s Representative Committee in the province.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in the province Nguyễn Văn Khởi and Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thanh Liêm.
As reported, Nam Can evangelical chapter was officially approved in 2014 by the provincial People’s Committee and previously administered by Pastor Đỗ Lê Hoàng Bảo Nhân.
