Ka Long evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) (ECVN) in Son Cao commune of Quang Ngai province’s Son Ha district was formally established with its new superintendent appointed at a ceremony held on March 17.

The event taking place at Ka Long church saw the participation of Pastor Võ Đình Đán, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Quang Ngai province, representatives from the ECVN’s Representative Committee in Quang Ngai province and Da Nang city, and local authorities.
During the ceremony, Pastor Võ Đình Đán announced the establishment decision of the evangelical chapter and performed rituals appointing Commissioned Pastor Đinh Đà as the new superintendent of the chapter.
As reported, Ka Long evangelical chapter was formally registered with local authorities in 2018. It currently has 700 members.
Earlier, Bui Tre evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Dak Drong commune, Dak Nong province’s Cu Jut district has held a ceremony to appoint Commissioned Pastor Hạ Văn Vàng as Superintendent of the chapter.
During the event, Pastor Y Djrên, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Dak Nong province presented the ECVN’s appointment decision and official seal to Commissioned Pastor Hạ Văn Vàng.
