Vietnam Baptist Church held on July 15 a ceremony for formally establishing its new chapter, Phan Hung Baptist church, in Ca Mau city.
The event was presided by Pastor President of the Baptist Church Nguyễn Võ Khánh Giám.
Guests at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Hòa Dựa and representatives from local authorities.
During the event, Pastor President Nguyễn Võ Khánh Giám announced the establishment of the executive board of the Phan Hung Baptist church and presented the superintendent appointment decision to Pastor Huỳnh Bá Thành, Vice President of the Baptist Church.
As reported at the event, Phan Hung Baptist church in village 7, Ward 7 of Ca Mau city has been granted the certificate of recognition by the People’s Committee in Ca Mau province in May 2022.
Phan Hung Baptist church is the first chapter of the Vietnam Baptist Church in Ca Mau province. In the coming time, the chapter will find a suitable land to build the worshipping church for local followers.
