Lien Hoa Buddhist temple in Tien Giang presents Tet gifts to poor locals, inaugurates rural bridge

The Lien Hoa Buddhist recitation establishment located in Xuan Dong commune of Tien Giang province’s Cho Gao district held on January 16 - 17 a charity program for presenting sets of support to poor people in the locality ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.

Joining the event included Venerable Thích Minh Phước, Abbot of the Buddhist temple.
During the event, 690 sets containing cash and rice with the total value of over 220 million VND were handed over to poor locals and people with disabilities in communes of Xuan Dong, Luong Hoa Lac, Binh Ninh, Quon Long of the district.
Earier, the Buddhist establishment in collaboration with the local authority of Xuan Dong commune held a ceremony for inaugurating Bau Giua rural bridge in the locality.
