Le Mat village traditional festival was officially held on May 9 in Le Mat Communal House of Hanoi city’s Long Bien district.

The festival featured traditional rituals including the procession of water and carps and incense offerings of 19 clans, etc, which honor practical contributions of ancestors to the village and the country and prays for peace and bumper crops, as well as folk games and sport activities.
This year, the festival classified as national intangible cultural heritage is taking place from May 9 to 12 (from the 20th to the 23rd of the third lunar month).
