The sub-board for lay Buddhist of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Da Nang City held on April 17 a charity visit to Tra Vinh and Tra Van communes of Quang Nam province’s Tra My district.

The visiting delegation was led by Senior Venerable Thích Nhuận Hòa, Head of the municipal VBS sub-board for lay Buddhists cum Chairman of the VBS executive board in Son Tra district and Abbot of Hai Hoi pagoda.
The charity visit presented 300 sets of supports to disadvantaged locals in Tra Vinh and Tra Van communes, and 200 sets to pupils in poor families in Tra Van commune, worth 600 million VND in total.
This charity event aimed to celebrate the municipal VBS congress for 2022-2027 tenure scheduled to take place on June 25, and the 2566th Buddha's Birthday celebration.
