Hung Van Temple chapter of Pure-land Buddhist Association in Ca Mau holds grassroots-level congress

Hung Van Temple chapter’s executive board under the Pure-land Buddhist Association in Ca Mau province held on January 3 its congress for 2023-2028 tenure.

The event taking place at Hung Van temple located in Tac Van commune of Ca Mau city saw the presence of Chairman of the Pure-land Buddhist Association’s executive committee in the province Nguyễn Quang Phương, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thanh Liêm, representatives from 21 chapters of the Buddhist Association in the province, and 120 delegates of Hung Van Temple chapter.

The congress elected 12 members to the 4th executive board of Hung Van temple chapter for the 2023-2028 with Rev. Thiện Phước selected as head of the board.

New executive board of Hung Van Temple chapter for 2023-2028 makes its debut

For the 2018-2023, the executive board of Hung Van temple chapter has proactively offered free health treatments using traditional methods and herbal medicines to local and made practical contributions valued at 4.5 billion VND for social charities in the locality.

On the occasion, local authorities presented certificates of commendation to groups and individuals of the chapter for their outstanding contributions during the 2018-2023 tenure.
