Bishop John Đỗ Văn Ngân of Xuan Loc diocese on November 11 presided over a thanksgiving ceremony on the occasion of the 10th founding anniversary of Hoa Binh Xuan Loc College.
Attending the event were Bishop Dominic Nguyễn Chu Trinh, former Bishop of Xuan Loc diocese, Priest Dominic Nguyễn Tuấn Anh, General Vicar of Xuan Loc diocese, and large numbers of priests, clergies, teachers, and students of the College.
Distinguished guests at the ceremony included Director of the Southern Religious Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Trà Quang Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Dong Nai province Cao Văn Quang and representatives from local authorities.
The Hoa Binh Xuan Loc College, operated by Xuan Loc diocese is the first Catholic vocational college in the country and The College was established in 2012-2013 school year. From the initial 12 occupations at the intermediate level, up to now, the College currently trains 20 intermediate-level occupations and 10 college-level occupations. Each year, the college enrolls over 1,000 intermediate and college students.
For the past ten years, the College has had over 4,100 graduated students including over 3,600 intermediate level graduated students and over 610 college–level graduated students.
