Nearly 50 Buddhist dignitaries, deacons and lay followers in the northern province of Quang Ninh province have attended a law-dissemination conference held on August 16.
Overview of the conference
The one-day event taking place in Quynh Lam pagoda was organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Quang Ninh in collaboration with the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, the provincial Public Security and the Military Command in Dong Trieu district.
The law-dissemination conference covered contents of religious life, the Party and the State’s guidelines and policies on belief and religion, construction and repair of religious worshipping places, laws on traffic safety, fire prevention, the Law on Cyber security, religions’ involvement in environmental protection and climate change adaption, belief and new religious phenomena, etc.
