Thanh Hue Long Caodai parish under the Ante-Creation Caodai Church in Tien Giang province’s Tan Phu Dong district held on October 30 a solemn ceremony celebrating the 15th anniversary of the restoration of its worshipping temple located in the district’s Tan Thoi commune.
Present at the event included Archbishop Vice Chairman of the Caodai Church’s Central Standing Committee Ngọc Phường Thanh, Bishop Chairman of the Church’s Representative Board in the province Thượng Thêu Thanh, and a large number of members of the Caodai church from Tien Giang and neighboring provinces.
Guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in the province Trần Văn Khuê.
Thanh Hue Long Caodai parish was established in 1930 and has been managed by 13 successive heads. The worshipping temple of the Caodai parish has been restored three times, with the large restoration was completed in 2007.
In 92 years of establishment and development, the Caodai parish has three members received the titles of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, six families honored for meritorious services to the revolution and 20 fallen soldiers sacrificed their lives in the war for national independence and unification of Vietnam.
