Lien Hoa Buddhist recitation center located in Xuan Dong commune of Tien Giang province’s Cho Gao district has organized a charity program for presenting free meals to disadvantaged people in the disitrict.

The charity program was launched in November, 2021 by Venerable Thích Minh Phước, Abbot of Lien Hoa Buddhist recitation center.
The charity program has regularly distributed 1000 free meals to poor people, unskilled workers and the elderly in the locality on the first and the 15th of lunar months.
Up to now, the program’s budget has been 12 million VND, funded by Venerable Thích Minh Phước, lay Buddhists and sponsors in the locality.
