A Da traditional festival of Ta Oi ethnic community in the central province of Thua Thien – Hue annually held in the end of the year has been preserved through many generations.
The festival bids farewell to the old year and welcome the new one while paying respect and gratitude to gods for favorable weather and bumper crops. The festival usually kicks off in the twelfth month yearly.
Worshipping offerings during A Da festival include sticky rice, traditional cakes, rooster, pig, goat, chicken, white wine, green banana, sugar canes, etc.
